Family Homestead— Bring a family in need some Christmas cheer. Sign up for specific items in the Narthex—deadline December 13. Lectionary Fun Fest: Discussion about the lectionary reading, every Tuesday at 7pm in the Narthex. “Dinners for 8”— January-June—Sign up on the table in the Narthex. November 22— Covenant Sunday—we will celebrate being this church together with a hosted dinner after worship. Sing! songbook dedication by the choir. Tuesday, November 24—serve Thanksgiving Dinner at Denver Inner City Parish, 5 & 6 pm, located at 910 Galapago St. THEY NEED FOOD—sign up in the narthex. Sunday, November 29— First Sunday of Advent—Rev. Paul Barru preaching. Advent Services— Holden Evening Prayer—Tuesday nights at 7pm, December 1, 8 & 15. Dec. 1—Rev. David Cooper Dec. 8.—Bill & Irene Oyler Dec. 15.—Charlotte Redden & Ken Switzer December 5— Greening of the Church at 1:00. Join the party! December 10— Christmas caroling, 7:00-8:30. Carpool from the Church. Christmas Eve Service— 7:00pm—lessons and carols—children’s Christmas pageant! Volunteer with Denver Inner City Parish!—DICP is a non-denominational, non-profit agency dedicated for the past for decades to serving the secular and spiritual needs of West Denver’s low-income community. Volunteer in January and February, when holiday volunteering drops off. Call 303-629-0636. Bring Food on Communion Sundays – Denver Inner City Parish’s Emergency Food Bank has been turning away some of the folks coming for help. Please bring non-perishable items to church on the first Sunday of each month (Next Communion Sundays are December 6, January 3, February 7). Items needed: rice, pasta, cereal, canned fruits, canned vegetables, tuna, soup, and baby food.
